If you were just a sky away...

Autor: Lela Stanković

Rusty dreams of a soul overshaded
Blend into insanity of echoes mine,
And leachees sinful waiting to dine,
I pour scribbing blood and emotions honest as a stone, as a Feast.

Counting all my falls, over sorrow I cry,
Had it known my pain, it wouldn't have tortured me...
Maybe a smile is too karma daring,
in a spirit of mockery, a grave's never too deep.

What could have I told you,
If you were just a sky away...

Distant are these thoughts,
Not enough though, as I know not how to think.
This is not what I meant,
Let it be a fool's touch only a Winter away,
Let it be nothing but a Nothing that got astray.

My nodding to blinding panorama drama,
That reality blasphemic stain,
In disdain, in vanity far too vain,
Was never an approval,
just a passage missed between sharp cuts of suicidal mortality,
Favorite insanity...

What could have I told you,
If you were just a sky away...

If a 'Goodbye' is too violent for you,
Promise me a promise an eternity old,
And I'll pretend to know what it means...

Another blink
and I will exhale the silence that tamed me,
A companion wise that asked me to listen,
But it got me disowned by this world's hue.
I wish my whisper set you free...

What could have I told you,
If you were just a sky away...
